Description and Service Details
Description (Service) | Independent intake organization assisting families who have a child under 18 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Families who have a child with a diagnosis of ASD not yet registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) should create an account, as should those families already registered with OAP who have received a letter or email from the Government of Ontario telling them to create an account. Those families who have a child already registered with OAP, but have not received a letter or email requesting them to create an account, should wait for the message before creating an account. Their child's services will not be affected in the meantime. An account with AccessOAP will allow families to:

Application | Families who are new to the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) can apply online, call 1-833-425-2445 or download an application and send it by mail Families already registered with the OAP who have received a letter or email telling them to create an account with AccessOAP, should create an account at accessoap.ca/for-families-already-registered-with-oap/ Families already registered with the OAP who have not yet received a letter or email from the Government of Ontario asking them to create an account with AccessOAP should wait until they get the letter or email - their child's services will not be affected; families with questions about that should contact the Central Resource Team at 1-888-444-4530 or at oap@ontario.ca |
