Description (Service)

Independent intake organization assisting families who have a child under 18 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

An account with AccessOAP will allow families to:

  • directly message care coordinators who can help them navigate the system and in making informed decisions about what services are right for their child
  • access core clinical services
  • use a family portal that will show what services are available, monitor spending, manage personalized accounts

Eligibility For families with a child under 18 years with a written diagnosis of autism
Application Families who are new to the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) can apply online, call or download an application and send it by mail
Families already registered with the OAP who have received a letter or email telling them to create an account with AccessOAP, should create an account at accessoap.ca/for-families-already-registered-with-oap/
Families already registered with the OAP who have not yet received a letter or email from the Government of Ontario asking them to create an account with AccessOAP should wait until they get the letter or email - their child's services will not be affected; families with questions about that should contact the Central Resource Team at 1-888-444-4530 or oap@ontario.ca
