Crime Victim Support
Programs whose objective is to help victims of crimes and their families recover from the trauma of their experience, get medical assistance when required, make their way through the legal system, have an opportunity to provide input to parole or clemency hearings, take appropriate steps, where relevant, to avoid becoming re-victimized, access the benefits to which they are entitled and rebuild their lives.

Personal Safety Education
Programs that are designed to increase public awareness of the measures that people can take to ensure their personal safety while engaging in specific activities that may put them at risk of accident or injury.
Dating Abuse Hotlines
Programs that provide information and support for people, particularly youth, who have questions or concerns about their dating relationships or who have experienced date rape, verbal and physical abuse, threats of abuse or other forms of violence from a dating partner and need help to defuse the emotional impact of the crisis. Dating abuse hotlines may also provide assistance for concerned friends and family members, teachers, counsellors, service providers and members of law enforcement. Hotline staff are generally available via telephone, email, chat and/or text.
