- Provides information on frauds and scams and consumer protection
- Centralizes complaints regarding identity theft, fraud and scams through phone, fax, internet or mail complaint
- Educates the public about specific fraudulent telemarketing pitches and deceptive marketing practices
- Shares information with law enforcement agencies regarding frauds
- Prosecutes key individuals and companies involved in telemarketing fraud and misleading advertising
- Jointly managed by the RCMP, the Competition Bureau and the OPP
